Mobile Browsing Guide
Simple checks for readable pages, slow images, and navigation on your phone.
Make text comfortable to read
Increase the text size or page zoom in your browser if needed. Portrait mode usually makes articles easier to follow; landscape mode can help with wide images.
If images load slowly
Allow the page a moment to finish loading. Avoid repeatedly refreshing while an image is downloading. If the connection is weak, return to the article when you have a stable connection.
Use the navigation menu
On smaller screens, select Menu to reveal the main sections. The logo returns to the homepage. Article links under “On this page” move directly to the section you choose.
Browser and device checks
Keep your browser and device software updated through their normal update settings. Close tabs you no longer need if your phone is short of memory. If text appears too small, use browser zoom rather than holding the screen closer.
Refreshing a page can retrieve a newer version, but repeatedly clearing all browser data is usually unnecessary and can sign you out of other websites. For a website-specific problem, note the address and describe what is missing.
Keep useful information for support
For a display issue, write down your device model, browser, page address, and what happened. Never send a password or one-time code with a support request.
